Clackamas Health Centers: Healthcare built around people

Clackamas Health Centers is committed to providing everyone a warm and person-centered care experience in their clinics. But, branded as a part of the Clackamas County Health, Housing, and Human Services department, Clackamas Health Centers was aware that residents were often confused about services provided and that the negative perception of government services was a barrier for many.

Clackamas Health Centers engaged Brink to develop a visual identity that would help community members differentiate Clackamas Health Centers from other county departments and speak to the quality of care they could expect at a Clackamas Health Centers clinic.

I took the lead in developing the Clackamas Health Centers visual identity, which reflects the brand’s personality: they are open and welcoming, flexible and inclusive, honest and compassionate.

In addition to the primary logo, I also designed marks for each of the Clackamas Health Centers clinics.

Working within the overarching Clackamas County brand guidelines I developed a color palette and selected brand typography to form the foundation of the organization’s evolution.

Print and digital materials introduced illustration overlays that extended visual elements of the logo.
